The workshop will take place the second year in a row, again in co-operation with the multi award-winning design studio Šesnić&Turković. It will be fun and playful and during these few days the participants will be making a poster for a film from this year’s KinoKino Festival main competition. Šesnić&Turković studio was established in 2006 and has since been active in the field of graphic design and visual communications. They created a series of award-winning and original posters for Croatian and foreign films, including The Beast, Life Is a Trumpet, Louder than Guns, Mystery of Green Hill and Quit Staring at My Plate. For the second edition of KinoKino, Šesnić&Turković made a colourful and nostalgic poster for the iconic children’s adventure film The Goonies. Last year, with the help of designer Andrea Sužnjević, young film lovers made a poster for the sci-fi comedy about the first eight-year-old in space, Space Camp, which opened the third festival edition, and this year Andrea will again assist young future designers in making their first ever film poster.
