Pottan is supposed to spend her holidays at a pony farm, but her ever busy parents in the end leave her at a scrapyard by accident. After a short deliberation, the unusual inhabitants of the scrapyard decide to take the girl in and she becomes part of a secret space mission: behind the tall fences they are assembling their own spaceship! All kind of wonders and unexpected friendships await Pottan, who becomes the first eight-year-old in space in this irresistible sci-fi comedy.

About the director Petter Lennstrand
Swedish puppeteer, director and producer. The author of several children’s programmes and serials for Swedish television (Höjdarna, Janne och Mertzi, Sprattlan, För alla åldrar etc.). His most famous brainchild is the puppet Allram Eest, a self-centred and bragging talk show host, inspired by Jim Henson and the Muppets. Up in the Sky is his feature fiction debut.
