A special film about a special girl. Nine-year-old Jo is a big fan of action movies and has two great wishes – to become a superheroine and to play the leading role in a film. Only in her imaginary world can Jo forget that she is terminally ill and has to spend most of the time she has left in bed. Her world turns upside down when the whole village unites to persuade her that her super-powers are real and make her dreams come true. A film about the incredible power of imagination and an extraordinary way to say goodbye. Supa Modo reminds us that even when young heroes like Jo abandon us, they continue to inspire everyone around.
