Typical teenagers Cornelius ‘Corn’ Denton and his older sister Rita take their father’s truck to pick up guests staying at their family hotel in Columbia. Arguing their pants off, they accidentally run over a strange bearded goat. The bad lucky goat encounter launches a chain of events. Corn and Rita have to find the money to repair the damaged truck and meet a series of colourful characters, from a drum maker, the Rastafarian Brother Rainbow, to the crimson-bearded pawn shop owner Goldie. Attuned to the sounds of reggae and tropical breeze, they experience all kinds of adventures and gradually overcome their arguments. A playful and exotic comedy, one of the finest debut films of the year.
