Eleven-year-old Michi has been living in an orphanage since his mother died. He never met his father, but after finding his mother’s lost letters, he firmly decides to find Tom. Internet search takes Michi to his father’s doorstep and he leaves him a message. When he hears that Tom usually goes rowing at this hour, Michi goes to the river, but the excitement he feels soon grows into a shock: Tom is as tall as him and in no way, does he correspond to the father image he had in mind. Michi makes a run for Tom’s home to remove the message he left, but he is too late. However, when Tom nevertheless seeks him out, their lives will unexpectedly change.
